General Information
Please familiarize yourself with our Rules and Regulations.
All classes are usually held in Ida Noyes Hall at 1212 E. 59th St. and sometimes at other locations. There is free street parking.
Classes are usually taught in sequences of 4 weeks each; and the fee is $16 for each 4-week course. First class is $5. Check details when registering.
You don't need to bring a partner since we rotate during the lessons.
Please show up a few minutes before class; especially if you need to pay.

Overview of Lessons Offered this quarter
Salsa
Beginner I & II: A first approach to Salsa and latin dances! Our goal here is to teach you the basics, such as the proper position and coordination, how to count and keep the beat, lead/follow simple patterns and have fun! No experience required
Continuing I & II: Here we solidify the fundamentals of salsa, and we add exciting new moves, Our main goal is to prepare you to feel comfortable in social dancing, such as latin clubs or parties. Beginner I & II required.
Intermediate I & II: In this level we aim to make you a better dancer, emphasizing technique, speed, creativity and effectiveness in the dance. You will be able to lead/follow complex patterns and moves. Continuing I & II required.

Private Lessons
We offer private lessons for individuals, couples and groups in ballroom and latin dances. It is a great way to get ready for that particular presentation, to learn and improve your skills in as short time or to have the instructor focus much more time in each person.
The basic rate is $30.00 for an hour for a couple on campus. Special and group events are arranged on case-by-case basis individually with instructors.
