| Welcome to our new website! We are a RSO at the University of Chicago, dedicated to promoting the awareness and appreciation of ballroom and latin dances on campus, as well as providing affordable weekly social dance classes in anything from Salsa to Rumba. |
Announcements:This is a new website, so please bear with us while we transfer more

have any questions which aren't covered here yet, or if you have any
feedback on the website please email: Jan. 11th-- our first Seven-Ten Salsa night of the year! Come by at 8pm for a quick refresher in salsa and bachata (I'm sure all of us got a little rusty since the last lessons) followed by the best of Latin dance music. Be sure to make it to catch up with old dancing buddies or make new ones. Bring your friends too! They'll thank you for it later. FB link (Seven Ten Bowling Lanes is on 55th Street, just east of Ellis.) Jan. 9th-- at the bright and early time of 6am, come see us at Kuvia! Every year we volunteer to teach a beginners class at this University Tradition, and this year is no different. Come by for some early morning yoga followed by a short dance lesson! Sept. 21st-- Drop by our table at the Reynolds Club Party this wednesday for some free Maravillas and to chat with the some of the dancers of the club! We start serving at 9pm and go till we run out! Sept. 30th-- Two events on one day! Drop by our table at the Student Activities and Resource Fair on the main quad from 3-5pm to say hi, ask questions or just get some free snacks. Later that night, come join us and our friends over at the Chicago Swing Dance Society [CSDS] for our first joint mixer! After a quick introduction to swing and salsa at 7pm, we'll be playing music till 11pm. Snacks will also be provided! Oct. 5th-- Our first Seven-Ten Salsa night of the year! Come join us for a quick dance lesson at 8pm, followed by the very best in salsa, bachata and chacha till 11pm. Oct 6th-- The first BLDA Classes of the Quarter! Come join us to learn some exciting new Bachata--new dancers or old, we have new material for everyone! Classes are in the Ida Noyes Dance room at 7.30pm with Open Dance starting after the lesson at 8.30pm. [5$ per class, or 12$ for a 3-week sequence]
