Apr. 16th--In addition to classes this week, we'd like to present you with discounted workshops held by the Latin Street Semipro Team, two of which are being taught by our very own Erin and Dorian! Come support the dynamic duo! Workshops begin at 5 pm this Saturday, April 21st, and include a variety of topics and styles, from styling and shines, to cumbia combos, to lifts and tricks! For a full itinerary and other useful information, consult the attached flyer. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your dancing skills and to expand your range beyond what we can offer you here in Hyde Park. Stephanie Wolfson from Latin Street has graciously extended the following discounts to the BLDA, so be sure to take advantage of them this Saturday!
Mar. 30th-- We pleased to announce the times and locations of all BLDA classes. See the updated schedule on the right.
Jan. 11th-- our first Seven-Ten Salsa night of the year! Come by at 8pm for a quick refresher in salsa and bachata (I'm sure all of us got a little rusty since the last lessons) followed by the best of Latin dance music. Be sure to make it to catch up with old dancing buddies or make new ones. Bring your friends too! They'll thank you for it later. FB link (Seven Ten Bowling Lanes is on 55th Street, just east of Ellis.)
Jan. 9th-- at the bright and early time of 6am, come see us at Kuvia! Every year we volunteer to teach a beginners class at this University Tradition, and this year is no different. Come by for some early morning yoga followed by a short dance lesson! More info about Kuvia is found on their facebook event page . See you there!
